The good news is that if you continue to move your business forward on a daily basis, you will be way ahead of your competition!  Social media is all about engaging with others and building relationships - after all we are in the "relationship marketing" business! Those members that truly engage with others and share value instead of constantly trying to get you to join their business are going to reap the rewards and be more successful! Keeping in mind that 96% of IBOtoolbox's traffic is non-member traffic, you never know who might be looking at you... a future team member, a customer, etc. So while you are engaging and participating at IBO, here are some important things to keep in mind:
Be positive - When you post PR's, wall entries and comment on other member PR's, wall entries or videos, make sure that you keep it positive. Remember the old saying - "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything".
No screaming - Using all caps in your ads, posts, PR or comments, is a good way to get ignored and is generally viewed as uneducated and rude. This practice is considered "screaming" and most people are offended by this.
Engage in IBOspirit - By sharing other member wall posts, PR's and videos on your social networks, you are engaging in IBOspirit. When you do this, others will often return the favor. The members that participate in this see even greater results with IBOtoolbox!
"No Adult" material - IBOtoolbox has a strict "no adult" material policy! Help us keep IBO professional!
Do not spam associates through the chat system/instant messenger - Everyone at IBOtoolbox has something to sell. It is not good practice to associate with members just to send them your opportunity. Instead, use the system correctly to establish a true relationship. Your opportunities are very visible to the members for them to see, so don't force it.
The IBO community is like any other neighborhood ~ good news and bad news both travel at lightening speed! Be a generous member of the IBO community! Help out where you can. Congratulate people on their successes and provide a shoulder for those who have been hurt. Celebrate often! Pass along compliments and take time to thank those that have helped you in your success. Welcome new members on board and associate with them. Begin building a true relationship first without trying selling them on your business opportunity.
