 At IBOtoolbox, you have the ability to get in front of people that are looking for what you have to offer - your target market! You have became the "hunted" instead of the "hunter". At IBO there is no need to chase your prospects; in fact, just by writing press releases, posting videos to your profile, running banner and listing ads, and completing your profile - you will be found! Everything you do on IBO gets indexed in the search engines. It can't be said enough that 96% of the traffic that comes to IBO is non-member traffic. The more you put into IBO, the more likely you will be found! Is it worth it? It absolutely is!
The remaining 4% traffic is member traffic. These are the people that you spend time with building relationships by commenting, sharing and liking other their wall posts, PRs and videos - supporting them through IBOspirit! These are not the people you are advertising to. They are other like minded business owners and you can network and associate with them, but they are not your prospects. Once you really understand this, there is no limit as to how powerful IBO can be for you!

New Member Fast Start - Training
|
 Welcome to all new IBO members! You are in the right place at the right time! IBOtoolbox you will get you more internet exposure for your business by providing a platform for members to meet other like minded marketers, IBOtoolbox enables you to build a business relationship first without the need to constantly try and sell your business to people that aren't interested.
This is a platform that will always put you first and wants you to be successful! That being said, let's get you off to a fast start by completing your profile. This is your first step to unlocking many free tools for your business. IBOtoolbox rewards you with 500 credits (2500 ads) to advertise your business just for completing 3 easy tasks!
To get your 500 starter credits, click on Edit Profile under Site Navigation at the IBOtoolbox dashboard:
1. Add your contact information, this is how prospects will locate you so make sure the information is accurate. Make sure to put in your geographical location as many prospects will want to deal with local people. Email, phone and skpe numbers are important as well if that is how you want to be contacted. Please note that email addresses are kept private and never displayed to prospects or other members. Add your URLs in the boxes provided for IBOtube, IBOgigs, Rebrandable Traffic and IBOextra. Make sure to click on "Save" when you are done.
2. Change your profile image. Click on "Change Profile Image", select an image from your computer and upload it. Remember that this is a professional business social network, not Facebook. Upload a real picture of you, not a logo or funny image so people can identify with you!
3. Add your business information, these will show up on your profile. Your business information consists of your business name and title. You also need to add your business links - your bizop link and product link. Note: if you don't have two websites, use the same one, but create an IBOurl.net alias for one of them for professional branding! IBOtoolbox supports multiple businesses, so you can add as many as you want to.
Once complete, return to the dashboard and your credits will be issued!
These are just the basic, required steps to completing your profile and earning your first star. However, keep in mind that your IBOsocial profile page is your public store front so the more information (steps) you complete, increases the opportunity for your visitors to find out more about you! You can view your live profile on your IBOsocial page and are welcome to come back and revise this section as often as you need to keep it up to date!

IBOtoolbox Tip of the Week!

 Being an associate does not mean that you are a prospect. If you associate with someone that sends you messages or chats that you don't want, remember that you are always in control. Simply un-associate with them by clicking on their name which brings up the IBO Member Viewer screen. In the middle of the screen where you see Associate Status, click on "remove associate" next to the red circle with the X in the middle.

In 2012, $12.7 billion was spent on this kind of advertising which means that is advertising has increased a little over 50 percent! Very powerful and the kind of advertising we all should do more of!
So how do we ride this trend without our banners falling into the category of what I like to call "digital distraction"? Let's face it, it is so easy to get distracted because there is just so much to see and learn on the Internet.
